    • great for students to submit playing assessment videos
    • great for students to view concert performance or rehearsal videos and reflect with each other in the comments

    • simple, easy-to-use interface
    • great for students collaborating on composition projects
    • great for music theory/composition assignments
    • great for melodic/harmonic dictation assignments, teacher can attach audio link directly to assignment
    • allows teacher to easily assess and deliver targeted feedback
    • allows teacher to distribute sheet music of warms ups, personal arrangements, etc.
  • Soundtrap subscription required
    • innuitive music production software
    • great for music technology/music production classes, especially with students lacking formal musical training
    • allows teacher to record practice tracks for students, students can then easily change tempo or key as needed
  • Noteflight FREE (subscription required to access some content)
    • integrates with Google Classroom
    • free Learning Library offers endless resources for sight-reading practice
    • teacher can publish one melody for the class (playing assessment, sight reading practice) and students can easily change the key, range, clef to suit their instrument
    • paid Libraries through Hal Leonard allows students to access sheet music for pieces, students can listen to recordings of pieces (either the whole ensemble or just their part), endless resources for ensemble sight reading practice

    • a learning management system designed specifically for the music classroom
    • customizable, teachers can choose from packages or select only the apps they want in their classroom
